Overview:

Business card designed to be placed on a wireless charging pad. I will then power and broadcast this portfolio.

ESP32, Kicad PCB Design, web development​

Challenges:

  • Designing wireless power tuning circuit

  • Hand soldering 0402 components

CAD Pin Art Visualizer

Overview: 

This device takes a CAD design and displays it in physical space.

​

Technology Used:

Raspberry Pi, Arduino, PWM, servo motors.

​

Challenges:

  • Translating CAD models to a 2d array

  • Controlling 100 actuators in a tight space

  • Fabricating accurately with basic tools

Hand Cast Engagement Ring

Overview:

White gold home cast ring.

​

Technology Used:

Lost wax casting, spin casting, 3D wax printing

​

Challenges:

  • Reliable casting without high ambient temperatures and vacuum machinery

  • Accurate machining with hand tools and no experience

  • Low power operation

  • Interfacing with an E-ink display with no documentation or drivers

  • Machining interference fits without a lathe
